Mind-Bending Photo-Manipulations by Erik Johansson
Erik Johansen’s pictures are worth more than a thousand words. The German born, Swedish based photographer enjoys nothing more than manipulating the mind with his tantalizing visual imagery. His vivid imagination and surreal forms create brilliant pictures of surreal moments, all with a hint of the believable. Originally a computer engineering student, Johansson currently works on personal projects as well as commissioned ones.
How did you first get into Lolita?
I saw pictures of some coords when I was around 13, and I thought it was awesome but I dressed in baggy pants/shirts back then. I started sewing my own ‘Lolita’ clothes that were pretty awful when I was 15, but didn’t really get into it until last year.
Did you wear Lolita today?
I did not, but I wore it tomorrow. I didn’t even leave the house today.
What was the last item you bought from the sales comm?
Bodyline’s wine rose high waist skirt. It’s beautiful.
